At the end of the war, rumor spread of a spirit consuming souls on the battlefield.
When news reached across the river to the Western infantry, Date wondered if this "spirit" might be Mitsunari, and set out to confirm it.

Meanwhile, Yukimura was the true spirit, eating (people) and hiding it from Date in these increasingly un-war days.
