Roku repeatedly starts and ends relationships in search of true happiness.

Roku and Nobu have been in a stable relationship in spite of a few bumps in the road.
But when Nobu's ex-wife appears on the scene things take a turn for the worse.
Nobu tells Roku he's going to split up with her and tells her to go to Miyako island and go out with Junichi instead.
Nobu also quits his job and depart for Peru, to live with his ex-wife and their child.
On the last day, Roku realizes how Nobu really feels, and breaks down in tears.
