クリスマスデートの最後に新太が千鶴に想いを伝えます。
千鶴は恋愛感情を知りたいという実験に付き合って貰った新太が迷惑そうな様子を見て、
自分は嫌われているのではないかと勘違いしていたみたい。
新太は千鶴の事が大好きな故に、千鶴の積極的なアピールに戸惑っていただけでした。
ようやく二人が恋人同士になり、仲良く手を繋いで帰路に就く様子を見て杏が嬉し涙を流すシーンが感動的でした。
