The manager of a soba restaurant is the reason for its horrible customer service. Despite cooking the best dishes, he has a mean expression. But he also has Hayate, the restaurant's poster girl, who supports the place earnestly. The two have been supporting the long-standing restaurant together, but with the times changing, their number of customers keeps decreasing... As the manager is finally about to give up, Hayate encourages him. "Stay strong!!" she says, and makes a daring move, with the desire to protect her beloved restaurant and her beloved manager. "I would do anything to protect you..." With those words, she rolls up her sleeves, almost literally, and expresses her honest feelings toward the manager in an unexpected way...
