今より数百年前。
人知れぬうちにこの世に災いをもたらさんとする「魔」と戦う者がいた。
その者は数匹の「霊獣」を使役し、「魔」を封印した。
人はその者を「封獣師」と呼んだ。

やがて時が過ぎ去り、その者の志を継いだあまたの「封獣師」たちは「魔」が現れず平穏が続くうちに「封獣師」は巨大な組織となり、「霊獣」を持つことはステイタスと化し「封獣師」という組織内における地位や名誉の象徴となってしまった。
現代の「封獣師」たちは「魔」を倒すのではなく、「霊獣」同士を戦わせ「封獣師」の出世のためのバトルテストとなし、娯楽化、「霊獣」の趣味化が加速化していった…。
「封獣師」の四方神圭三は、3匹の「霊獣」を使役する「封獣師」だが、デビュー以来20戦全敗というだった……。
一族からバカにされながらも、圭三は配下の美少女「霊獣」……鼠の「ちゅみ」、蝙蝠の「モーリー」、海豚の「ルカ」とともに、特訓し、ムフフな交流をしながらも戦い続ける!!
