The Demon King's Retirement Chapter 9

My subjects, thank you for coming... I, the Demon King, shall retire as of today. This sudden proclamation by the Demon King, ruler of the demon realm, threw the people of the realm into a panic. Even as his aides tried desperately to stop him, the Demon King threw off his imposing mantle, transformed into an unassuming (albeit handsome) hoodie-clad young man, and descended to the human realm with a spring in his step. Yet even down on Earth, he is surrounded by demonic creatures! His gloomy apartment full of evil spirits wriggling in the dark, and on the floor below a mysterious woman whose bruised face grows worse every day... Is this place cursed? Can the Demon King not escape evil's grasp even in retirement? ...Tonight, again, he can hear the woman's wails. He makes up his mind and heads down to her apartment! And what sight greets him once he gets there...?!
