Product summary
巨人軍の波原豪は非凡な才能を持ちながらも、病魔にむしばまれ極度のスランプに陥っていた。
休養を兼ね、妹・民江が嫁いだ会津若松のバット工場を訪れた波原は、
妹の夫でバット職人の南城丈太郎に新しいバットの作成を依頼する。
後日、出来上がったバットを届けに民江は息子・隼人を抱いて上京するも、
波原はすでに死の床にいた。
病院へと向かった民江だったが、
その途中で交通事故に遭いかえらぬ人となってしまう。幸いにも隼人の命は助かった。
…3年後、バット職人として天下をとるために丈太郎は隼人を連れて上京する。
