かんざし
この作品は朗読教室発表会で読んだ物語からです。
新美南吉先生の『かんざし』という童話から描きました。
理由は朗読教室の先生から「せっかくだから描いてみたら」というひと言でとりあえず描いてみたからです。
内容は、とある池の淵に女の子が来て、頭に身につけた簪が池に住んでいる魚のところに落ちてしまった。女の子は魚に大事な簪を拾ってと言ったが、欲が出た魚は自分で拾えと言ったので、彼女は池の深さでは拾えなくて悲しみながらどこかへ行ってしまった。その魚は頭に簪を差してみようとしたが、髪がないので差せなかった。翌日、諦めきれなかった女の子が池にやって来て、魚は水の上に簪をくわえて彼女に返した。つまり、他の者が尊い物でも自分にとっては尊い物ではないということを初めて知った自業自得の話です。
イラストでは、池の淵に橙色の着物を着てしゃがんだ女の子に池の中に白くて大きなひれの魚がいて、真ん中に簪が落ちているところとアップして女の子の着物と同じ色で白い花柄、銀色の飾り付けの簪を描きました。
