等と、旧約聖書には悪名名高い彼女ですが、果たしてそれが彼女の全てだったのだろうか。
「悪女」「暴君」である前に、人間らしく悩み、泣きそして笑う一人の「女性」であり、また一人の「母親」であったのではないか。
歴史には遺されていないアタルヤの素顔を、彼女と愛し合った架空の女性「アタルヤの妃」の視点から描いた史劇。
