This CD was really such a good pick-me-up and made me laugh and smile for real. This is my first time listening to One Night Love, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was absolutely blown away by how expressive his acting was. Souta was such a lively character and the voice acting really brought him to life and highlighted all the colors of his personality. And he's just as dumb as he seems lol it's absolutely hilarious
Though the plot is nothing I haven't seen before, the basic premise of character A making themselves into a huge success in the limelight to catch character B's attention, One Night Love's acting really made Souta and the whole project special. It was fun to see Souta drop his "ore-sama" front at the drop of a hat because he can never keep his cool in front of listener. The quick switches between all his different expressions, arrogance, insecurity, embarrassment, excitement, caring, etc made him into such a lively and lovable character.
I also really liked how much he cared for listener the whole way through. Cooking for her, giving her a massage, and checking on her emotional and mental state all did a great job of portraying the soft part of his love, the side whose main goal was to make listener happy.
The ending really tugged on my heartstrings too. The phrase "aishiteru" is always meant to be taken seriously, but to hear it at the end on their wedding night, right before it cuts to the outro music, gave it an impact that seriously took my breath away. My heart felt light until long after the track ended.
