You were working a live-in resort job on a small remote island famous for its merfolk legend.

Since your grandparents lived on this island, you used to visit with your family every summer. But after the summer you turned ten, you stopped coming to the island.
This summer, while casually browsing job listings, you came across a live-in job on this island and applied out of nostalgia.

About a week after you started the live-in job, a man came to your workplace.
He was tall and delicate, with pure white hair and skin. He looked positively ephemeral.

This is the story of your summer with "Kaito Yao," a man who claims to be a merman, with a pure white, ethereal, and somewhat mysterious aura.

Kaito Yao: Mikado Sumeragi

A man with a pure white and fragile aura.
Apparently, he is physically weak and recovering in a house on a hill on this island.
Despite his fragile and beautiful appearance, he often shows a playful side, teasing you to see your reactions. He loves to toy with you.
He claims to be a merman, but…

You (unvoiced)
You're a woman who has returned to this island for the first time in many years to work a live-in resort job.
You used to visit the island often in the past, but stopped coming due to certain circumstances.
You always wear a pendant with a blue stone.

Landlady: Touka Fujishiro
The innkeeper where you work.
She is a lively, generous, and kind-hearted woman.
She doesn't seem to have a very good opinion of Kaito...
