The story takes place in a certain magical country.

You are the princess of this prosperous country with excellence in both magic and science.
However, on an occasion of a national party, you are cursed by the witch of black.
She says she can tell where you are with the curse she put on you,
and she will appear in front of you when you turn 20, to kill you.

While your parents are in despair, a sorcerer proposes that he has an idea
to protect you although disenchanting the curse is beyond his ability.
It is to hide you in a magic shield so that the witch cannot find you
and form sorcerers into a party to bring down the witch.
Thus, you start living with him inside the magic shield.
