古代ローマの歴史に埋もれし遊戯が今、蘇る…

古のローマ皇帝が嗜んだといわれる、複数枚の石板を用いた占いを兼ねた遊戯。
長きにわたり瓦礫の下にあったこの遊戯が、現代のゲームデザインと融合しここに蘇った。
『ポニーマジック』『猫のビスケット』等を手掛けたメニー・アンドによる、速考と駆け引きの2人対戦型カードゲーム。

ゲーム概要

アナログカードゲームみたいな雰囲気を装った、スピード対戦パズルゲームです。

12マスのフィールドに配られるカードを並び替え、同じ絵のカードを3枚繋げて消去。
上に他のカードが乗っているカードは消せないという特性を利用し、
"連鎖"で消去することで高ポイント獲得&相手フィールドに攻撃カードを送りつけることができます。

相手フィールドをカードで埋め尽くすか、制限時間内により多くポイントを獲得すると勝利。
勝利するには素早く大きな連鎖を組み上げる事だけでなく、
相手の状況も察して連鎖を組むかカードを減らすことに専念するかといった状況判断も必要になります。

トーナメントに参加するモード以外に、一人で練習、コンピュータとフリー対戦、二人での対戦(オフライン)、
集めた金貨でカードセットや音楽を購入できるモードを用意しています。
購入したカードセットは対戦の時に使用することで、ちょっと違った雰囲気で遊ぶことができます。
ボードゲームに詳しい方ならちょっとニヤリとできるカードもあるかもしれません。
