I’ve always liked this series, and appreciated the creators’ efforts to depict various, one of a kind “two guys and one girl” relationships that fall under the NTR umbrella. Though labeled as NTR, each work presents readers with a unique listening experience. The ideal mix of erotica and an unexpected story arc.
The acting, blew me away. The smut scene, amazing. Both characters sound like late 20s ikemen, but one is reliable and down-to-earth while the other gives off a carefree, mischievous bad boy vibe. Their love-making styles are different too haha.
This story here is surprising. ML brings the heroine home, and his friend talks him into kissing her in front of him. Out of nowhere, he goes to her, kissing her and asking ML if he wants him to join, to which ML said, “sure!”
Me: “…wat?”
Turns out, ML and his friend have an unusal dependency relationship, where one feels so responsible to take care of the other, that he is not just looking for a girl he likes, but also one that his friend likes.
These two straight guys have already formed a partnership that neither of them wants to end, so they ask the heroine, “hey if you accept the way we are come and join us cos we both like you.”
The heroine accepts the deal which I understand, two heads better than one lol. But one couldn't resist but asking the ML, just who do you care about more??
The writer effectively develops these two characters and their unbreakable, possibly unhealthy bond through their conversations and behaviors (even in 18+ scenes.)
The male lead (ML) was bullied, and the only person who treated him kindly and acknowledged his existence was the heroine. Consequently, he fell in love with his idealized fantasy of her. Personally, I doubt it's love; rather, he seems obsessed with his own version of her. To me, it feels more like a horror story than a romance.
This "love" drives him to insane lengths to capture the heroine. His strategies and decisions solely revolve around possessing her, with a focus on self-satisfaction and zero consideration for how his actions might impact the poor girl and others.
He broke into her parents house to read all her social media posts and diary, multiple times;
He forced his former bully to set fire to a house so he could rescue the children (unforgivable) and became the hero;
He threaten heroine to kill her with a knife; menacingly threatening to crush her throat when she suggested a kind gesture (choking here)
The creators did an excellent job depicting a manipulative, Machiavellian criminal obsessed with the poor heroine, exploiting his role as a police officer in the name of justice (pun intended). The contrast between his facade as the good cop and his true nature is shocking.
The track where the heroine discovers his real identity and confronts him is truly frightening, with the voice actor's performance being amazing. The eerie laugh sends shivers down my spine!
The sound engineering elevates the scariness, especially when the ML suddenly gets close and speaks in your ears, saying, "I want to be one with you", the heroine's hasty retreat mirrors my reaction...
