　愛知県名古屋市中心部。夏休みに入ろうかという7月のある日、極度の人見知りから孤独で陰鬱な高校生活を送る、瀧瀬結真(たきせゆうま)は謎の生物ベルブと出会う。
　宙に浮く、壁をすり抜ける、突如として物を出現させる……ヘンテコな力を平然と見せつけるベルブは結真に対し、とあるゲームソフトを探して欲しいと言うのだった。
