Blue Guardian Margaret is a 2D M*troidvania which focuses around Water and Swimming. It sounds like a recipe for disaster, but somehow FoxEye made it work.

Although the swimming controls aren't analog, they felt responsive and I never had to fight with my controller to get to where I needed to go. And on land the platforming is smooth and responsive, and Margaret moves at a nice speed, Again, no real issues here.

The game also sports an English Translation, although it appears to be made by a foreigner, or done too literally as the grammar can sometimes be odd, However it's perfectly legible, so any English speakers should have no problems there.

There is DRM which isn't very common for DLSite games, but it's perfectly understandable and doesn't intrude in anyway, which is something that you can't say for even some Triple A games out there.

There's only one real problem, and it's only something you can say for DLSite games, there's not really any sex to be had, and although there is Clothing Damage, you're pretty heavily punished for running Margaret around in the Nude. Plus she doesn't seem to bothered about it either, so anyone who likes ENF is going to be a bit disappointed. Plus Margaret seems to be completely lacking a Vagina, not even just a censored one, it's just completely missing.

With all that said though, for FoxEye it's a step in the right direction, but I'm sure many fans are hoping they go the extra mile next time around.

But as just a game, it's pretty fun to play, so if you can handle a lack of penis shaped objects being shoved into the Females many holes, it's worth picking up.
