PC8801ハード社パーフェクトガイドブック [ProjectRepadars]

ボイスボックスは、1986年にログによって作られた「世界初の声優による音声合成出力装置」です。初音ミクなどのボーカロイドの先駆機器であり、声優が音声データを吹き込み、PC8801/FM77/MSXのレトロパソコンを通して明瞭なボイスを出す幻の機械です。

今回、当時の開発者様にご協力を頂き、まぼろしの機械と呼ばれていたボイスボックスを令和に再現させる事が可能となりました。本書ではその構造と、開発中の互換機の図面を掲載しています。

□MZ-2500について

PC8801ハード社パーフェクトガイドブック [ProjectRepadars]

MZ-2500は、シャープから1985年に発売されたマイコン機器です。
需要の少なさから対応するゲームソフトが限られており、その中でもハード社は貴重なソフトハウスでした。

本来であれば、移植されることがほとんどなかったMZ系のソフトですが、ハード社は「MZ-2500でPC8801のゲームプログラムを開発」していたため、他社には決して真似できない優れたプログラミング技術でシェアを確立していました。
本書では、当時の開発者様による原理と解説を収録しています。
