A vast woodland sprawls as far as the eye can see, with a great tree standing at its roots.

No one knows exactly when the Gates, or the monsters they brought with them, first appeared in these blessed woods.
In Atwood, it's Lewisia who resolves to fight this threat--for her friends and her family.
One night she notices a strange brand on her body. A curse.
She goes to a town in hopes of finding a cure... in hopes of finding the truth.

Monsters aren't the only threat Lewisia will meet on her journey.

The game takes place in the region of Broomfield, clearly laid out to you in a 2D map.
Go to areas and interact with them in an adventure game format.

Numerous places are available to you on the Map Screen. Click on their icons to visit them.
Battles take place in an isometric perspective, allowing you to easily control Lewisia and other characters in battle.
In the Exploration Screen you can talk to NPCs or investigate and interact with your surroundings.

* This game requires a mouse and a keyboard.
Simple controls that take no time to get used to!

* Battles progress at a nice rhythm reminiscent of stage-based games.
The battle system has elements of roguelikes, tower defense and strategy all in one!

* The player, allies and enemies all take their turns in an order decided by their speed.
They can move one space or use an ability once their turn comes.
This is the usual flow of battles.

* Summon your comrades to stop monsters as they progress through their attack routes!
Also use various items to block their paths and lead your team to victory!

* There are no experience points or spendable money in this game.
Earn skill points in battle and use them to learn new abilities.

* Receiving damage in battle damages your clothes.
Being damaged while naked will leave you at the mercy of your assailant.
There are animations for each monster's time with Lewisia.

* Spending too long in battles, or letting monsters have their way with you will increase Lewisia's corruption meter.
Lewisia will lose consciousness if it reaches its limit, ending in her defeat.

Will you be able to escape the hands of evil? Will you stop it in its tracks?

The Divine Tree, as it's known to its residents, stands at the center of a sprawling forest.
Our story begins in one of its regions, Atwood, with a girl living there.
Lewisia has always been concerned with the Gates that appeared one day all of a sudden and brought monsters with them. She resolves, along with some of her fellows, to visit the nearby town of Blackloom in search of the guild's help with this matter.
But the night before departing, an odd, unknown sigil appears on Lewisia's body.
Keeping the fever taking over her secret, she ventures forth to town...

See her deepen her bonds with her companions and earn the Guild's trust as she grows ever closer to the truth behind the Gates...
Many monsters and enemies stand in her way, hoping to make the beautiful Lewisia theirs...
But no matter what happens to her, she'll stand up, time and time again.
