Manman no Ki

A young male undertakes the Test of Manhood, the ritual of his village
where a boy enters a dangerous cave, alone, and face the disturbing demon within.
He enters the cave, wishing more than anything to become a man.

The apparition he must face is the Manman no Ki, a plant that takes the form of a woman.

"I will defeat you," the fresh-faced male declares, but the battle is sensual.

"There is a way to feel even better... Shall I show you how?"

Foolishly confident, not understanding the finality of the pleasure and death that follows,
