This work is super good, continuing in the series of exceptionally enjoyable games by this circle. The controls are simple (just left-click), the animations are fantastic, and the gameplay is difficult enough to be a challenge without losing its enjoyment. If you've played and liked the other succubus games from Goodnight Developers, then you'll definitely like this one.

Also, although it isn't stated on the product page, this game does have an English language option in the settings (which is the middle option on the title screen). The translation is not very good, but it can suffice if reading Japanese will be difficult. And because the game isn't marketed as containing an English option, I consider this to be a thoughtful bonus to overseas fans.

Additionally, there is a gallery mode unlocked after beating the game, so you can further explore and enjoy the animations upon completing the story. The time for story completion in my case was some amount less than 4 hours (I wasn't timing it). This game is a great deal for the price, and it has a lot of replayability even if just for the animations.

In short, enjoyers of succubi and/or high quality Live2D animations will be satisfied by this game. I will continue to look forward to this circle's future works!

For those who don't speak Japanese, following the story could be difficult. However, the actions and expressions of the characters give a general idea of what's going on. Game mechanics are also easily understood, though if you can't understand "left click" or "right click" in Japanese then you may have to guess on a few occasions. When unsure, usually clicking either the left or right mouse button is part of the solution. There could be a similar situation for controller setups, but I did not try using a controller.

In terms of gameplay, everything feels smooth and intuitive. Combat has depth to it, but you can overcome any enemy once you understand their weaknesses and attacks. The game doesn't hold your hand all the time like modern games tend to do, but nothing ever feels so convoluted that you shouldn't be able to quickly figure things out with a little thinking. The game offers 3 difficulty modes and a chapter select, so you can choose how much you wish to challenge yourself. I recommend "normal" to start; you might make it past a bunch of obstacles, but you'll likely get defeated eventually and have an immersive defeat scene experience.

In terms of graphics and H content, it's super good! I don't believe there's an option to unlock everything in the gallery after clearing the game, but these are usually easy to acquire. There are a variety of enemies which have animations when your character is defeated, and they are all really good in quality. Some defeat scenarios also result in a "movie" rather than the usual animation. And these movies? Superb. True cinema, as they say. The art style of these movies can be seen in the preview video, around the 50 second mark. They are super hot, and several characters have a movie. Both movies and animations also have controls allowing the player to move to different phases of the action. On keyboard, this is done through the spacebar and the A/D keys.

If you liked the previous game from this developer (Alps and the Dangerous Forest), then you'll love this one. And for the price, it's super worth it.
