Lamprey and the Unusual Female Warrior

Summary

A large number of adventurers band together into one party in order to challenge and fight monsters that are fast increasing in number as every day passes. However Lamprey chooses to walk her own path, one she will take alone. She alone laughs at stories that don't amuse, and refuses to live only in order to consider other people's wishes.
However the number of monsters that she can hunt alone is slowly decreasing. Finally, one day, she goes hunting and comes up with nothing.
At the same time that this occurs, a huge monster coincidentally wanders astray into a cave and discovers Lamprey. She launches into the fight, but ends up being beaten at her own game...
