Mariko is one such girl. She's hormonally ahead of her friends, and experience a lot of first times.
She has no one to talk with about this stuff, so she puts on a good face while coping with change.
Memories of puberty are so often stained with tears.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
This manga was submitted and re-organized a number of times for editing.
It has an interesting history comprising a year's worth of focused effort.
My publisher often told me "It's good, BUT..." and I worked on it some more.
I'm not sure what finally clicked, but this is the result!
