Yumiko Misaki (protagonist) scared the boys at her school.
She was the top of her class, politically influential and just plain tough:
her whole life she had been doing karate.
The guys called her the "Queen of Fear".

Enemies with everyone on some level, it was thought
that nobody at the school could possibly want to go out with Yumiko,
but one fearless guy kept asking until she said yes.

That guy, whose name was Ota, was famous for
some pretty bad things outside of school...

Yumiko was unaware of Ota's reputation when they went on their first date.
But Ota was unaware of something about Yumiko:
