Magia Witch Iori ~awakening~

A boy whose real parents were killed during the Demon Lord's invasion.
Now he's being raised by Ouka, the legendary hero who defeated the Demon Lord.

Though after his parents died he was quite depressed, spending time with his friends Rio and Akira has lifted his spirits and returned him to normal.

Now he and his two friends are studying hard at the Daimyouji Academy to learn how to use the Magia to destroy monsters. Even if he didn't fight directly, he wanted to be able to protect people like his adoptive mother Ouka from the beasts.

Iori is diligent, helpful, intelligent, and composed.
He's also top of the class.
However, when his friends get hurt or are in trouble, he gets uncharacteristically fired-up.

He secretly has feelings for Rio, but has yet to make them known.
On the surface he treats Akira like a bad guy, but secretly respects his intelligence and communication skills, though he finds his philandering off-putting.

Iori's best friend since childhood.
She used to drag him out to play all the time when they were kids, and that's how they became close. She's currently attending Daimyouji Academy with him to learn how to combat the monster invasion.
She has a bright and cheerful personality, but can be a bit coarse at times -- especially on the rare occasions she switches into "dirty old man" mode (usually when Iori has transformed). When she and Iori are hanging out she likes to hunt for his porn stash, too.

Rio is a skilled Magia user and is known around the city as the second-strongest after the legendary heroine who killed the Demon Lord. She's capable of defeating beasts that would be trouble for multiple Magia users all by herself. In combat she wields the lightning spear Keraunos to scorch her enemies with electricity.

Iori has secret feelings for her, but what does she think of him...?

Another childhood friend of Iori and Rio's who also attends Daimyouji Academy.
He's actually known Rio a little longer than Iori has. Unlike Iori, he's a fun-loving playboy. However, he's also highly intelligent and his grades are second only to his friend's -- and that's without studying.

He's physically fit as well, and despite being annoyed with Akira's womanizing, Iori think's he's generally a great guy.

The Magia user who defeated the Demon Lord, known worldwide as the "Heroic Slayer".
She looks very young, but her 100% compatibility with her Magia Driver has halted the aging process. She's actually in her 40s. She is the acting principal at Daimyouji Academy and also Iori's homeroom teacher. As a friend of his parents, she took in Iori after they were killed. At this point, she's essentially his mother.

When his parents were alive Iori thought of her as a big sister.
